“Let us fight to free the world” -Charlie Chaplin

This, is a great speach. -grins- …Does anyone recognise the movie ‘The Great Dicatator’? Well, consider watching it. Especially if you are interested in history or a good movie. Or a good speaker. But seriously though, it’s inspirational.

..And, in response to the original poster’s comment; I don’t think it’s that surprising really. For a person who doesn’t speak a lot. When they do speak, it would make sense (to me, atleast) that what they did say, would be important, and have a lot of impact.

Like, a quiet person. Or a reclusive one. They don’t speak often, perhaps, but when they do- their words have amassed a lot more meaning than what would ‘normally’ be expected for everyday talk. 🙂 But that’s just my viewpoint.

Something we (and the next gen~) should consider?

Hey there.

NaNoWriMo.

Came across this when I was on YouTube, looking for good pep talks, eheheh.. Check the link? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zG9hMgjTrXA

It explain’s what this is (and yes, this is to the rest of the Eight as well; P, L, Gee, S/Peace, Mo, I and Taz)! I thought it would make a good challenge, next year. And who did I think of first? Okay, honestly- I thought of S. Then the rest of the Eight.

So, I’m sharing! TAKE A LOOK :D.

Byte-Size Fiction

Ridiculous the laughs! I presented them with a sure fire way to save the world and they mocked me with a prehistoric bodily interaction with no intention behind it all. These preconceived notions of impossibility have been handed down by generations of disappointment. My theories are sure fire, and based on factual numerical and empirical decisive remarks backed up by tangible instances deduced by my experiments. I have proof. I have numbers.

It’s never enough until they see it for themselves. But little do they know the deception that occurs by their own intelligent-mind. So I wait; I see what is acceptable and present the “truth” accordingly. But the truth, I make up, with notes and numbers that are digestible. I’ll ride the ride until they catch me from the bullshit I’ve spewed. By the way, I’m a physicist, and I don’t…

Poem: Morning

A poem..by the Merchant of Rhetoric. It’s wonderful, and an example of how inspiration can take hold of you at any moment. -Dara

Merchant of Rhetoric

The result of an early morning walk and a recent desire
to play with form and style…

MORNING

Is earth’s collective ignition:
The kingcups are drinking their dew,
The grass breathes curls of mist—

And I am halted by the sounds of the birds…

When Darwin stood with his foot
At the top of the world
And eyed—
In every little finch,
In every
Drop
Of
Blood—
His mutative division,
His brow was in the steam of noon.

But for me,
Me, who lives in daybreak
The lifespan of a god—
When the hawk’s claw
Is
Not
Yet
Red—
I see the sportsmen same time nod,
I see all as a chorus:

The trees stretching their roots,
The colonies reaching their hum,
Cool brooked in banks across the world—

And I am thrilled to be one and the same…
