I know nothing of hatred…

This is very true, thoroughly thought out and the last paragraph hit me like a wrecking ball (or, how I imagine one would). Otrazhenie shared an amazing train of thought, so I thought I’d share it with you! It’s..great is not the right word, because that would imply it’s a good thing. It’s neither, I think. A warning, perhaps..Advice. Forewarning. Information. 馃檪

Some Prompts

Today we were given a randomly selected prompt each- which seven of us had written previously (I was away when the others wrote them, and Mo was away today, so that was sorted).

We then wrote a piece on said prompt(s). These will be uploaded shortly!

Anyway, these prompts may be helpful to your own writing! Some are odd, some are slightly morbid and I think someone had too much fun writing another.

Man of Science

More Creative Writing; this story is by ‘MichGev’. This is an example of flash-fiction!

Byte-Size Fiction

聽 聽 聽 聽 Ridiculous the laughs! I presented them with a sure fire way to save the world and they mocked me with a prehistoric bodily interaction with no intention behind it all. These preconceived notions of impossibility have been handed down by generations of disappointment. My theories are sure fire, and based on factual numerical and empirical decisive remarks backed up by tangible instances deduced by my experiments. I have proof. I have numbers.

So I wait; I see what is acceptable and present the 鈥渢ruth鈥 accordingly. But the truth, I make up, with notes and numbers that are digestible. I鈥檒l ride the ride until they catch me from the bullshit I鈥檝e spewed. By the way, I鈥檓 a physicist, and I don鈥檛鈥

Poem: Morning

A poem..by the Merchant of Rhetoric. It’s wonderful, and an example of how inspiration can take hold of you at any moment. -Dara

Merchant of Rhetoric

The result of an early morning walk and a recent desire
to play with form and style鈥

Is earth鈥檚 collective ignition:
The kingcups are drinking their dew,
The grass breathes curls of mist鈥

And I am halted by the sounds of the birds鈥

When Darwin stood with his foot
At the top of the world
And eyed鈥
In every little finch,
In every
His mutative division,
His brow was in the steam of noon.

But for me,
Me, who lives in daybreak
The lifespan of a god鈥
When the hawk鈥檚 claw
I see the sportsmen same time nod,
I see all as a chorus:

The trees stretching their roots,
The colonies reaching their hum,
Cool brooked in banks across the world鈥

And I am thrilled to be one and the same鈥
